Any reports from the metro? Was out last night and finally got the first of the year a 41 incher. Other than that it seems like its been kind of slow. Hopefully it picks up. Anyone been out at night much?

Out last night and only had one good follow. He knocked the bait out of the water, but never got a hook in him. It has been slow for me.

Put a 43" in the boat around midnight last friday.

Not really a musky guy but have been fishing a lake known for giants and have moved a couple big girls.

After truly targeting them for 3 outings after having a big girl follow a spinnerbait I was throwing for Pike and Bass I was thrilled to put one in the boat.

I talked with BoxMN about what to do since I am fishing a heavily pressured lake and watch the parade of boats throwing big baits along the weedline.

I decided to fish at night after everyone else is gone and throw different baits and work the weedline differently than everyone else.

After 3 trips it finally paid off.

Tried Crystal for a couple hours after work 5-630ish. Not a musky in sight.
