Night fishing in the Kayak.

I am thinking about rigging up some lights for my kayak. Possibly running them off a Vexilar battery and hooked up to toggle switch. I’m sure someone else on here has done it. Any pics? Where did you get the lights? Thanks..

I saw a guy out on a lake once with a pole light on his kayak. I don't know how he had it set up, but they must be available online.

A quick google search came up with a company called "yak attack" that makes "visipoles" that I believe are pole lights for kayaks.

Visipoles would be my suggestion too. I actually sold one last year. Nice rig, but I hardly ever night fished so it just took up space.

You can get strips of LED's from e...bay. I got 2 16' strips (any color) you can cut them down, or leave them long. A 16' strip draws .4amps.

You could simply glue them to the yak and hook up your 7 or 9ah vex battery.
