Musky Trebles

Was wondering what brand you guys would recommend to trade out the trebles I've cut or need to replace...Mustad? VMC? Is there one that works better than others?

Alot is personal preference, I like muskie innovation bulldawg hooks but all have their time and place depending on the bait your swapping hooks on...

Eagle Claw 774's for everything up through 5/0. I like the VMC's over that size.

I also like the 5/0 Eagle Claw hooks with the beak for topwater baits. They will greatly help with hookups on large walk-the-dog baits.

What size would you recommend for 10" cow girls? bulldogs?

On Double 10s, I will go with a 6/0 or 7/0. For mag dawgs I go with 7/0 VMC and pounders I go with 8/0. It is also a good idea to change out the split rings on dawgs. I know they have been fixing the problems of the past, but I prefer to use quality split rings on all baits and it gives me piece of mind.
