Musky in Waconia

Has anyone ever had any luck catching Musky in Lake Waconia? I've heard they're in there, but just can't find em...

I've heard Anderson's Reef, the rock dock and the beach are good spots. Any truth to this?

Yes. Don't rule out the north end shorline.

hot fish seem to like jerk baits and rubber from my experiences.

Jerk baits have been key for me this year for triggering strikes.

12'-15' adjacent to weeds.

Near schools of sunnies or prey.

Top water is KEY on Waconia. They are in there, Last year the winning fish from the Metro Musky Tourney came off the lake, all the reefs are great spots if you can find them and the north shore is also good and the rocks. I'll tell you right now, there are some monsters in this lake. I live in Waconia and have fished the lake for years, and I've caught some big fish and I've seen some big fish on follows. Dusk or dawn is the key on that lake. Good luck and see ya on the water.

Arman- when you say rocks, do you mean the rock dock towards the west side of the lake, or is there another good spot with rocks? Have you fished the rock dock?
