Stren on Trilene spool?

I picked up a spool of Trilene 6#xl, put it on one of my spinning reels, and it has a strong blue tint to it. Looks and handles like stren. Went back and checked out the other spools at GM and none had that tint to it. Is it possible that spool was miss labeled, or stren put on by accident? Owned by same company, wonder if produced at same plant. Big fan of trilene, not so of stren.

I haven't used Stren, but Berkley and Power Pro usually put this on a sticker, it is not printed on the box. Both companies have 2 visible indicators though, Berkley has a sticker on front and on back, Power Pro has a sticker on front, and a sticker visible through the clear packaging. If it was not properly labeled, most stores would be good about returning/exchanging that (but might ask questions on why you put it on one of your spools).

Sounds to me like it is trilene in that box.

They make a fl. clear/blue trilene xl line that has a bluish tint that I have seen at Gander this year.

Comes in a red box with a blue label saying what the line # test is.
