Swim Jig Observation

Are bass right or left handed?

I was given 8 swimjigs a few years ago. Never gave them more than a few casts until today. Brought them along just to use and get rid of. Swimjigs arent my thing.

Anyhow, i caught 80-100 fish on them today...and at least 75% were hooked in the left corner of the jaw. Nearly all bit the bait and turned right. Thought it might be the sun position after the first several, but it was all day and fishing every different direction.

I found it very strange

Do you use a swim jig? Right now can be a great time of the year to best your 30.

I'll give you one spot.

Go hit Minnetonka's inside weedline, now. Adjust the part of the lake you fish given the sunlight and have a ball.

more than likely the jig was swimming to that see. In other words it was not perfectly balanced and was swimming eight the hook tipped to left. I use a All terrain jig and if I don't get the trailer right it will lean left.
