string/peep question

Recommended Posts

I lowered my peep sight and it is now turned sideways in the string. I will need to put in a bow press and turn the string so I can see threw the peep again. How many turns or half turns will I need to put in the string??

Rather than twisting the string, just take tension off it and turn the peep, puting it through different strands.

People laugh at me because I still use a rubber blush strand for my peep, but it ALWAYS opens straight for me. I chuckle watching others straightening theirs with their nose on each shot. Don't think they even realize they're doing it anymore. grin

What Don said about releasing the tension and moving strands around.

Another thing to try is, if you are shooting a D-loop on your string, rotate that around the serving to align with your peep, when it tightens back up to the serving in its new position it will rotate your peep.

Go out and buy some "winners choice" strings, that seems to eliminate the twist..... wink
