klee
I'm looking for a shooting rest to sight in guns at the range. Is this a good idea? If so, what do you all use? I don't want to spend more than $100 on it. I see they are pretty spendy.
K_Josh87
i found a used lead sled on the online classifieds site, and paid like 65 bucks for it, and its like brand new... works awesome for shooting, i reload, so it is how i test my loads... i DO shoot differently off the rest than i do off my bi pods in a hunting scenario though... so make sure you check yourself even after you use the rests... Archerysniper
+2 for the lead sled that's how I do all my bench shooting.
klee
I just want to use it for sighting in slugs and. 22. Then shoot without the rest to make sure I can shoot straight.
K_Josh87
i believe MCM caseguard makes one fore around 30 bucks.... otherwise just some sand bags or the like to rest the forearm on work as well... especially if you don't care about recoil reduction...
