beer batter
Heading to Minnewaukan in a few weeks. How are things looking out there as far as water levels, access to use, walleye reports? Thanks for any info.
beer batter
Anyone been around Minnewaukan? How's the public access situation, and how's the fishing?

JK22
I am heading up there this weekend also. There is a new access south of Minnewaukan 3 miles on 281. It is on the east side of the road, look for the water facility. From there you can access the big lake. I was there in april so no new fishing reports. beer batter
Fishing was fantastic. When the wind wasn't blowing, tie up to a tree and slip bobber in the timber. When the wind is blowing, fish the windward side with spinners and leeches, or troll cranks. Fish were way more aggressive with the wind blowing. The landing south of Minnewaukan is really nice, just stay to the right as you exit that bay towards the main lake. There's a few sunken roads you have to cross and there's a safe passage on the right (east) side between the rock piles.
