Meant to post in bird watching

I was sitting outside this evening starting the grill when I saw a black colored bird, that I knew wasnt a crow, bob and weave between the tree tops here in town. It's head, back, and tops of its wings were black but the underside of its wings was kind of a grayish white color. Ans I'm pretty sure it had at least one white stripe, if not more, on its tail. I'm positive it was a hawk of some kind but I've never seen a hawk of that color around here. Any ideas gentlemen?
