Pouring and Painting Jigs

Recommended Posts

I was running low on my favorite Walleye pitching jig so I thought I would take some pics of my equipment and the process.

Here is the mold. I only needed 3/16 oz so that’s the only size that I poured.

Very nice tutorial.

Guy's like me need pictures to bring things to life. confused

One question if I may and please forgive my ignorance, does the introduction of air (air bed) give the material some loft as to prevent clumping?

Again, thanks for sharing.

Scott

Scott,

That is exactly what it accomplishes. It also allows you to apply a thinner coat all around.

what mold is that?

That was my first thought. As I really like the looks of it for pitching plastics with the little plastic keeper or poured without the keeper and tied up with bucktail... grin

The mold is a do-it JT-7-WBA jig mold... cool
