Multi purpose reel

I recently bought a 7'6" St Croix heavy with a fast action. I want to use this for the slop and also use it for Muskie/Northern fishing. I'm having trouble deciding on a multi purpose reel. I have thought about a Abu Garcia Winch or a Curado? I want to put at least 50 lb braid on this. This is my first pole of this magnitued.

if your going to throw serious musky baits the curado may be a tad small for that. also I believe the winch is still a smaller cranking reel. i think the muskie one is the revo toro winch. i may be mistaken. It all depends on how big of muskie lures you're going to throw.

get the shimano 300E.. it will do what your looking to do.

Revo Toro 50 would be another good option. I have Toros and a 300E, and prefer the Toro, but your mileage may vary. Either would serve you well.
