Humminbird Battery Charger

Ebiz

Question

Have three batteries for my Humminbird Ice55 and can't seem to get them to hold a charge. Two of them are several years old and have seen a lot of use, thinking they were shot I picked up another one this past fall but this one doesn't seem to hold much of a charge at all either.

Is it possible the charger went bad? If so would you guys recommend buying another Humminbird one or are there better brands on the market?

some have mentioned "smart" chargers in the past that automatically turn off after battery is charged so batteries dont burn up. i dont think i got that with my pack, just a regular one. i guess i would start with a new charger & try to recharge batteries, if they dont hold charge then u know batteries r dead & maybe return charger if u like. but if i was starting out with new batteries, probably get a new charger at same time to protect them.
