Dog in Training...

My 9 month old short hair pup has been at training camp for the last 9 weeks and being the sun was out, I thought I would go out and watch a training session. They were using live birds and I was at the mercy of the situation, so a few shots that could have been great, were turned into the sun but it was still fun.

This first shot, she was locked up on a pigeon in a launcher but was facing away from the sun so I was facing into it.

This is a point where the sun was in my favor, but she was facing the wrong direction.

Here is another point where she is on a hen pheasant which is in a launcher in the weeds.

The pheasant got kicked out of the launcher, but didn't fly and sat on the ground, so the dog charged and I got a money shot ...finally.
