cutting and polishing help

I have one agate that I found last year that I would like to get cut in half and have the cut face of each half polished. does anybody know of a shop or person who does that in the northland, like even maybe around Duluth? also what can I expect to pay for this service? it's about 19 ounces

Try using google for Duluth area rock shops. I know theres at least one up there but I don't recall the name. Got a pic of the rock?

I really like the rock shop in Beaver Bay on the north shore. They cut the stone for a couple bucks. Also, they usually cut "right now", so there is no waiting. The face polishing is more expensive, and takes longer, possibly a week or more turn around...would have run me $40 a face for a stone that was a little under 1 pound, but it's labor intensive and worth it if you love the rock.... Not sure where you are located in God's country...maybe too far out of your way...
