Headed up to nipigon first week in june. Never fished the lake. Primarily want to chase lakers but brookies aren't. Out of the question. Fishing out of a 18 tyee w riggers. Im assuming my lake superior rigs will. Fit the bill just fine. Just looking for pointer what to look for etc.

There was a pretty neat thread going here last year on Nipigon. Go back a way to find it. I don't think many people here have fished it, i.e. open territory...but sounds like a great lake. Post pics and reports! I want to try Nipigon someday.

look up kkahmann on this sight been living and guiding on this lake for many years very friendly guy. I've been fishing the area for the past 13 years and it is a great area with many fishing opportunities
