Ok, so I want to build my first rod as it might give me something to do, and I have found some things on different rods I have had that I want to put into 1 rod.

So I had a St. Croix legend Extreme rod which was probably the best rod I have ever had. BUT durability on the tip sucked! I broke 2 in a year, and I have never broken a rod before in my life.

The titanium recoil guides are what I want on my first rod..... Why they are light bulletproof and you can't bend or break them.

Anyone know where I can get them or if you can purchase them even?
