Campaign Fund Contributions on Taxes

SkunkedAgain

Question

Since the first time I did my own taxes, I've donated on both my federal and state tax returns to the campaign election funds. With all of the &%#%$@ super PAC stuff, it makes me feel like my $3 or $5 donations are completely useless. My naive viewpoint was that I want all candidates to have the same resources available. Now it's like the flooddam broke and the money is flowing through. I absolutely refuse to donate money to any candidates, as that is bribery pure and simple.

Is there a reason to contribute to the election funds?
