luckycrank Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 if person planted multiple seeds per cavity in 6 pack flats when is it best to cut back seedlings to 1 per cavity I normally only plant one per cavity but had some germination issues last year and decided to sow multiple seeds in each this year ...and not the case this year almost 100% germination. KEN W Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Tomatoes are tough plants.Wait until they have 2 true tomato leaves.Then pick the best one and cut off the others at ground level.Or if you want more plants you can seperate them from each other and re-plant the ones you want.
