get some basic obedience done, and some field work and retriever work. he has a 4 week course for a good price.

i'm overseas right now, but will finally be home at the end of april, lost a year of training and hunting with my dog. I was going to send her through the 4 week retriever course. how old was your dog? mine is 2 1/2 now so she has some training and bird work, just need to help get the right push and work down with her. He has a really good price as well, Thanks

Jeff's a good guy and trainer, problem is a four week course is a very short time for much to get done, about the time the dog is making some advancement, you show up and take him home. If you can swing it sending a dog south, on a winter trip is the best option. Don't expect ALOT from a four week course..

thanks, i'm looking at it as a get her back in the groove of things. i have heard good things about him from other places as well. i plan on using a few trips to the game farm as well so i know she gets to work on some birds. what do you mean by a trip down south?

Alot of the trainers from the northern part of the country go south for the winter Fla,Georgia, Alabama, Texas. Most of them leave in Jan. and return the end of April. Iv'e had a couple of different dogs on winter trips, including one this winter. I feel it's the best bang for your buck, they would be way behind on water work come spring if they didn't go down.

A little off topic BUT,

I believe you are overseas now do to being in the Army. I cannot thank you and your fellow soldiers enough. Thank You for all you do. you guys are my heros!!!

I resently took my GSP to Gun to Bird Intro Course. I get her back in 2 weeks.

to the last 2 post thank you from all the soldiers,and the other services. i am a little uncomfortable when i hear that, but i do appreciate it. Corn fed thanks for the e-mail. I am taking her to his 4 week course the first week of May. I am pretty pumped for it, just to get her back on track after bieng gone and not getting to work with her. My spring when i get home is busy love up the wife and daughter, Turkeys, food plots, MUSKIE Yeah!!!!, and i suppose go back to the regular job!! haha thanks again
