Installing a Lowrance 520 GPS/SONAR it states to put a on/off switch on the GPS part so I called customer service and all I could get for information was it can drain the battery over time because when you turn the unit off the GPS part alway stays on. Wondering how many install switches or how much juice it draws. I remember one I did back in the 90's and never switched it, can't remember any battery problems.

We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
