pikes hitting spoons

i talked to my neighbor who
runs a bait shop he says northerns are hitting on spoons daredevils ( SP)
and other types of spoons

The Pike on Mille Lacs have been crushing Scenic Tackle spoons all year long. The fire-tiger has been best. The patterns on the Scenic spoons are awesome.

DJ Are the pike still hitting spoons? How has the pike fishing been? I'm going up the weekend of the 23rd. We are going to fish on the West and South ends. How do think the fishing will be then? We would like to get into a Muskie if we can. All we have been getting are ones under 33 inches or so, still lots of fun.
