Dave S
Has there been any maintenance done on the machine recently? Has it been upside down recently? any high-speed long-distance runs?
efgh
Your Diff. probley has some water in it, I would change the gear oil.

Dave S
It doesn't really sound like it's going to be much of an issue. The machine is 10 years old and is likely to show some signs of dampness. My guess is the oil may see a small amount of vaporization and will eventually work it's way up the tube with the little pressure the rear diff. actually creates. McGurk
If you drain it note the color of the fluid. If it is milky you will want to top it off, run it a bit to circulate it, and drain it again while it is warm. Fill it again and check the color after using it again.
