Has anyone been to Gods River Lodge or Gods lake

Recommended Posts

Looking at taking my son on a fishing trip for Big Northern and Lake Trout. Talked to the marketing guy for Gods River Lodge at the All Canada Show. Looks like a great trip, but was wondering if anyone has been there or has any other suggestions of where to go?

God's Lake is a phenomenal multi-specie fishery. Trophy northern, lake trout, walleye and natural brook trout.

There are 3 or 4 lodges on the lake. Do your research as this particular lodge may not have what you truly want from a lodge.

Query Lee Nolden from Manitoba as he used to own one of the lodges up there. He'll give you the information that you need. You can also look up the Manitoba Lodges and Outfitters Association and read up on what's available.

Hey Bob,

If you are looking for the ultimate in untapped Trophy Pike and Huge Lake Trout, do a search for Wolf Bay Lodge on Phelps Lake. Not much of a HSOforum, but I know a few guys that have been up there and they say the fishing is nothing short of incredible.

Hey Matt

Haven't talked to you in quite awhile.I sold my place last fall, now I can go fishing. When will you be up at Manitow? I would like to come up and go ice fishing, but it would most likely be just myself.Let me know.

Give me a call.

Thanks Bob
