Wildlineman
What do you use as a throw back lure after you get a non-commited follow?Do you use different throw back lures for different baits? Or do you have good luck throwing back the same lure the Muskie followed?------------------CPR and let her grow!
guideman
Hey Wild,A general rule of thumb is throw a fast bait after a follow on a slow bait and a slow bait after a follow on a faster bait. In other words, try something totally different to get them to bite. One of my favorites, a jig and plastic concoction of some kind. 6"Reapers or agrub, can at times be very effective on a hot fish. Bucktails are a good bait to throw after follows on a topwater, Ihave done well over the years with that presentation.------------------Terry "Ace" SjobergAce guide service.aceguideservice.com218-753-2612[email protected]
