how popular or followed would you say NASCAR is in MN? my buddy refuses to believe me that its actually a very followed sport here, no matter where you live. he seems to think only a few people out in the country follow it....

I would say there is a big following here in MN.

We have alot of "hometwon" tracks that are full every weekend.

I do believe that the popularaity has gone down in the last three to five years but is still pretty strong.

i'd say theres a fair amount of fans in mn.. i remember the last time i was at the fair when ASA had a show there

and m martin tricle and i thing maybe rusty was there it was sold out i believe something over 23k

and like sifty said there are quite a few local tracks that draw ok

another thing i just thought of

i use to play on another fantsy league and just in the mn division there was

over 1000 i think

In the dirt tracks we travel around to, many I talk too do not watch any longer.

I believe those fan numbers have dropped from what I have seen.
