Problem with my son's PS3 blurtooth headset

Recommended Posts

I'm not all that technically savvy, especialy when it comes to video game stuff so I thought I would ask for some help.

My 11 year old son got a bluetooth headset for his PS3 for christmas and everything has been working just fine with it until last night. It does not seem to be charging at all.

I tried plugging it into a different USB port.

I tried unhooking the stand and plugging the headset directly into the cord.

I tried using a different USB cord

I tried plugging it into the USB ports on my computer

Nothing happens. My son says there should be a red light that goes on when it is charging but no light comes on no matter what I do.

We paid something like $50 for this thing only like 2 months ago. Is there something I can do to get this working again?

Tell him to quit throwing it across the room after he gets shot in the back too many times?? laugh

Actually, no. If you've tried all of those things you've metioned, I don't believe you'll have any luck.

Depending on where you bought it, check and see what the return policy is. If it was at a large box store with a big yellow price tag on the sign saying they are the best buy, they're usually pretty good at looking up what the manufacturer warranty is and letting you know if there is any recourse there as well.

If it's not under warrenty give GopherMods a call and see what they think.

Goggle them!

They fix Xboxs, PS3's, etc..
