Otter thermal ?

I just finished assembling a lodge thermal and found the windows are not removable? The HSOforum lists this as a feature. It was packed on 1-26-12. Do earlier thermal canvases have removable windows?

their HSOforum has a typo. in the 2011-2012 catalog it clearly says the windows are crack resistant and sewn in place with insulated covers. I think the orginal otters may have had removable windows and the HSOforum was not updated to show this change.

Bummer! I just bought a pro thermal lodge. But it's still exactly what I wanted.

Ya the lodge is great just upgraded biggining of the season from a hub the windows were my only concern but have not had any trouble yet as for my hub I did have problems I can see it may be an issue some day cold just has that affect on things in time all an all Best purchase I'v made so far.

Thanks for the info guys. Pretty excited, it's feels surprisingly larger than my previos X2. The roto-molded tub without the raised front and rear is a huge improvement. Actually looking forward to fishing 2 people out of it.

I have owned an Otter Lodge since 2005. Obviously not the thermal unit but I never had a problem with the windows cracking.

Ive got an old green canvas cottage, the windows have held up really well on that. Before I got the lodge and was checking out the HSOforum, I was thinking it would have been nice for ventilation. Maybe if it got too warm..
