Looking for Good Level Wind Reel for Lake Trout and Pike that Won't Freeze Up

Looking for recommendations for ice fishing level wind reel (baitcasting?) for Lake Trout/Pike with good drag that won't freeze up. I heard Penn 10 and Penn 9 reels are good for this but looking for recommentations.

I was given a Ming Yang reel CL60 and at first I thought, oh boy more junk to toss in the corner, but it has turned out to be a favorite for big pike fishing in the winter.

I think most people are going to recommend am abu Garcia 5500. I took that advice and got the 5500 C4. I spooled it with 12# mono and used it last weekend with no problems. The rod guides still froze but the reel worked just fine.

I would take some time and remove the factory grease and put in some quantum hot sauce. I use it in my spinning reels and it has really improved the functionality in extreme cold. I have a Browning level wind reel I would like to try. What kind of rods are you using? I haven't looked much but is it hard to find a good quality rod with a bait casting rod lock?
