I was wondering which lakes are hot right now? I heard lots of guys are out at bitter. Im heading out there this weekend and plan on hitting up a few lakes. Any insight would be great

Should be an interesting bite with all of the little pressure systems we've had move through. Best bet is to follow established trails, and if you venture out on your own, have a set of spikes along. SD ice is sketchy all over the state right now. I've got the day off and am planning on heading up that way early tomorrow morning, but I may just get to play with the skid steer and push snow tomorrow instead.

Yeah...use caution, as the ice will be quite inconsistent. The reports I am hearing are that Bitter has slowed down a bit, but as was mentioned that could be a result of the different weather systems moving through. When the bite was going well, people were having success in the 20'-30' depths on perch and walleye.

It will defiantly be interesting with this weather.. Knowing my luck the fish will shut off completely come tomorrow. Any idea what guys are using for lures on walleyes?
