hey i bought an abu garcia 6 foot medium action graphite series and a newer rhino reel thats smoother than babys bottom my rod was 1cent so hey what did i have to lose
do you think it eould break easily if so il just use it for bluegills or something just want an opinion thanks a heap

I honestly dont know anything about that particular rod or reel. The rod shouldnt break if you dont go over the recommended line weight or stress it beyond 90 degrees when in a snag or a heavy fish, etc. About the only difference in that rod and a high dollar rod is the diameter, actual weight, eyes, reel seat, and handle... more or less saying its not as sensitive, is heavier, larger diameter, and doesnt have the same feel or balance as more expensive rods, It wont have the performance of a high dollar rod, but by no means does this mean its weaker in any way. The only rods I have ever had a problem with breaking are the new, super high modulas graphite rods. They tend to explode with too much pressure. Both G Loomis and St Croix rods have done this to me. I still swear by St Croix rods, but I buy the lower end rods that suit my fishing practices and havent had any problems with them. I cant tolerate a rod breaking well under recommended line weight usage when my jig is stuck in a rock .. broken rod shouldnt be a fear factor.

got it thanks a heap FD by the way do you know how to make a firetail try it with two ends of large tubes and ta da a spider tube!
