Tonka Boy
Minnetonka isn't exactly the Northeast metro, but I've had some great success there for muskies in the last couple of weeks. In fact, I boated a 36" and 47.5" on my last outing 2 days ago using surface baits. If the muskies don't occupy your time, the northerns are frisky, taking bucktails or any large surface baits. I may be wrong, but I cannot think of many muskie waters on the NE corner(sorry but I don't get over there often)?? White Bear or Bald Eagle are probably the top choices. Unfortunately, I have not fished either this year. I can tell you both see allot of pressure. Good luck!------------------Tonka Boy
Guest
I would second the vote for Rush Lake. The last week the muskies have turned on and are hitting topwater baits in shallow water.------------------Paul[email protected]
RuKiddingMe
Which Rush lake would that be? i was on the DNR HSOforum and noticed there were was East Rush Lake and just a Rush Lake, i looked at the East Rush lake and from what i seen there aren't any muskies in there, and the Rush Lake didn't have a lkae survey to look at.Thanks

CorynTracySellHomes
Both East and West Rush have muskies, East has less structure than West....But I think they both have about the same amount of muskies! What's nice is if your not doing good on one lake...you can take the channel to the other lake!Cory Frantzick------------------Visit us on the web at www.Athomeonthelake.com
perchpro
try rush lake by rush city. go to the east side and find the weed flats. they usually go for big daredevils and rapalas. it's best fishing when it is sunny. good luck, yank them hard!!
