perch lakes?

any decent perch lakes not too far from the north metro? catching quite a bit on coon but there somewhat small caught a nice 10 incher out of randomness other than that there all small. also still trying to find some bigger sunnies and some crappies too, what to use and how to present it would be nice to know I dont need exact locations just point out some lakes around the anoka county area or close by and some tips would be much apreciated thanks to you all for all the help

Probably wanna head north for bigger perch. Big perch are far and few between on any metro lake now adays. As for keeper sunnies and crappies not too familiar with anoka county lakes but Chisago area is always a good bet.

Linwood can be ok for sunfish and crappies and martin can be pretty good as well.

i too am having size issues with my fishing this winter, my backyard lake produced 10" crappies, northern, & decent bass last year....so far this year all i have seen is perch & today nothing over 5 inches.

im just looking for decent sizers to bring home and eat not looking for slabs exactly but you know not little dinkies. seeing the sizes ppl keep guess i was throwing back a few dinners hahaha i am catching a ok amount of perch just wasnt sure what was a keeper size
