Northland jigs

Anyone have any problems with northland jigs breaking on fish?

I have used them for a while and never a problem. Love the Bro series nice sharp hooks. Good hooks too .

Never had a problem with them. Use their hexi fly and mud bug about 75% of the time i'm fishing.

i have had 4 jigs break the last 2 times out fishing a couple on hooksets and another time reeling one in. one hook was a new tougstin hooks broke on the first hookset

I was going to guess it was the new tungsten jigs. That happens with those. I am not a materials property chemist or tackle manufacturer, but I noticed the same problem several years ago with Fiskas. I would attempt to adjust the hook gap and break the hook right off. I don't know if the soldering temperature is so great it weakens the hook or what but it seems you get more breaks.

Try their C.S. and see what they tell you.

Nope, I've never had a problem, but I don't catch very many or very big fish.

these were on blue gill. not that big haha and i wasn't even setting the hooks that hard so i guess i dont know what the deal was with them

Get some of the bro series if you don't have them already, you can see the quality hooks compared to alot of other companies. I am impressed with the fiskas line as well very good hooks.
