How do YOU fish a Lindy Slick Jig?

wondering how you fish the lindy Slick jig. DO you jig it lke a spoon/buckshot/jiggin rap/puppet minnow or do you deadstick it?

jig and ground pound it because it is a weighted front i have it on a snap and i 1.ground pound,2.stay on bottom of 2 seconds,3. lift up about 3 inchs,4.wait 1:30 min and repeate.

I have had very good luck with these jigs using a whole fathead.

Now I want to get out and chase some gills and crappie with the new smaller version.

It is great for bottom pounding...I use it for that quite a bit. That is one of my favorite techniques for perch fishing.

But I also use this on my deadstick, usually right next to my jigging rod. I will use a jigging rap or Buckshot Rattle Spoon to call them in; if they come in and don't hit my jigging line, I reach over and give the Slick Jig/deadstick just a little jig...and I have caught a lot of perch on the Slick Jig that way over the past couple seasons.

Great video Harvey! Thats exactly what I was wondering. I just bought 4 and i'm dying to try em now. Also picked up 2 micro slicck jigs. theyh look promising!

Here is another video I took last year with the slick Jig. I mispoke on the video. I use fas snap not a snap swivel. I like the Small or Medium size snaps. It seems to give the jig a better action.
