Slick Micro Jig

Anyone ever use these yet on crappies? I got some larger slick jigs for an early xmas gift and saw these in the store yesterday and picked up a couple packs. They look as tho they could be a dynamite crappie bait. Any success stories?

I thought the same and bought a couple packs. Have yet to even get out on the ice and try them. I think they should be a good bait.

I am looking forward to trying them tomorrow. I love the profile but I wish they also added one size smaller. But that's just me being picky.

I will be testing them out tomorrow as well. Thanks for getting me all excited about using them. Were you tipping them with finesse plastics, or using euros? My initial thoughts were the hooks were a little small for anything besides those two options.

I agree with you Jim,they are awesome on sunfish and crappies. You will not be disappointed using the Micro-Slick Jig!

I used them on Thursday and didn't have much success. Tried three different colors. The fish were very picky on Thursday and seemed to like jigs with a different profile than the slick jig. I will try them again when I am out this Thursday.

I tried a few today without luck. Nothing was really biting though anyways. Ill give them another go in the near future though.

I was catching perch with one of these like crazy. They were inhaling the thing. I think it could be a good crappie jig. I don't know about sunnies, they seem to prefer bugs in my experience.

They are like everything else, buy a few and switch up colors.
