united jigsticker
My wedding was on Saturday. On Sunday, my new Bride declared she wanted to go fishing. So we went to the cabin. What followed was some excellent Crappie fishing, in midst of battling gusty winds. 17-25 feet of water was the key, within 2 feet of the bottom, vertical jigging a feather jig. Most fish were 11", with some running up to 13", and also seeing some of the dinky 8-9" fish as well. We fished 2 days, and caught well over 100 Crappies, but we couldn't seem to take more then about 15-20 fish off a certain school before having to relocate to another pile of active fish. My new Bride caught a good share of Crappies, marking her first real succesful fishing trip, and says she had a blast. ------------------Good fishing, UJ[email protected]
