Fish and Name weave

Not to bad....but I would start on butt wraps first. I have other weaves posted w/ a weave in progress post to let some see. Weaves can take some time to do depending on the weave. Names are fairly easy, this weave is actually 3 different weaves combined. Coming up w/ a angel pic with the word baby for my wifes new rod..........for those interested I'll post a pic on graph paper (but no left list till I put it on a rod)

Not long, ordered a book by James Lipton aka the Dragon Master from mudhole, he describes the process, has plans for a flat loom and 3 weaves. Then I just started playing on a dowel to get a feel for it, same as I did on learning to do butt wraps. I am using maderia thread for weaves and started using them for butt wraps, its actually a embroidey thread so you have to use thread preserver because it has a silicon coating (easier to slide through needle eye) but I really like the color selections, the thread is also just slightly smaller then size A, if your interested I can post a sample of a weave I am doing now its the same weave just a different name and color, I'll provide the left list also on the letters but the fish is from a Dale Clemens book. If you have questions or would like to try sometime let me know, we can meet up (provided I don't already have a weave in progress.
