any fishable ice yet i wanna hunt the doe hunt and a little ice fishing would make a better weekend

Most lakes are ice covered now but I've heard people are still punching through with spuds in a lot of places.

hows it looking for the opener will there still be ice or is it starting to open up yet

Looked at the MODIS satellite images. Still ice but lake ice is really starting to darken, especially towards the east. I would say the high flow lakes will be open (Chetek Chain and Rice). Turtle at this point could be a coin flip with clouds and a cooldown later this week.

i was up a couple weekends ago and as i was putting the boat in i seen a lady walking with a nice limit of crappies and as i told her thats a nice catch she informed me she wasnt fishing some guys gave her their fish and went back out for more this isnt the first time ive seen this it makes soooo mad that people actually do this sorry had to vent but why keep them
