What rangefinder do yall use? What are your pros and cons with it?

I am looking to buy a rangefinder for coyote, deer and golfing. Would like to find an all around one that can cover all the bases. I have heard that if the rangefinder is a 600 yd model, that it is really good for 400yds. Wondering what you guys have found with your randefinders. Thanks for any info

I would agree with your assessment. I use a Nikon 500 I think. Either way, I can get accurate readings to 300yds on any target, but to get more than that it requires a larger target or something reflective or flat like a sign or building.

If you're looking to get accurate results in the 200-400yd range, I would consider getting a 600 at minimum and maybe even an 800.

I have the Nikon 550. Its accurate out to 500 yards or something. I use it for deer and coyote, and its worked well for both of those.

Leica CRF

It hurts to buy (Expensive) But they work very well.

I own the CRF1200 and have ranged coyotes past the 1000 YD line.

The CRF 900 will do what you want.

I have a Leica. Expensive but very nice and very accurate! I would say that Leica is the most user freindly as to some the have unwanted options. These you just shoot and read. And the optics are crystal clear!!!!!
