For this really being my second year going out after geese and ducks, we had a great year. Started with a bang on opening day with 5 guys, 5 kids 1st grade and under and a limit of geese. I can't remember seeing kids have so much fun hunting before. I hunted maybe 15 times this year and can only think of 2 that we didn't have some kids with us. It is great to have permission from a farmer with very productive fields just minutes from home and a good neighbor to get me involved in it again. I don't even mind the slow hunts. Plenty of good conversations and its pretty fun learning the ins and outs alongside my 2 boys.

Hmmmm were to start, well the early season hunting wasnt all that bad killed more geese than ducks the first to weekends, meet a new friend on the lake and actully became duck chasers together. got skunked 5-6 times but when you go as much as I did 30-40 days its expected. Has a great middle of the season with lots of greenheads. Didnt shoot as many geese as we normally do. Had a terrible close to the season as no ducks came home the last two days.

Another great MN season, shot more woodies this year than the past 5 years combined! Passed on cans, hoodies, ect. MN is a great place to hunt if your not lazy and don't hunt the same spot every time. Last hunt of the season froze the boat to the bank, decoys covered in snow, it was great. ND was good this year too...
