jiffy oil in a strikemaster auger

Last year my bro in law in could'nt find his gas container so he used up my amsoil mixture for my strikemaster auger and put his jiffy oil mix in my container. Now it sits full of his mixture. I'm wondering if I can use that mixture in my strikemaster or should I skip it. What is the difference besides the name brand? They are both 2 cycle oil.

I would dispose of it and mix up some fresh gas with the Amsoil you were using. Nothing wrong with that oil but never know what kind of problems the old gas will give you.

Dump the old stuff in your vehicles tank and get some fresh gas. They're both 2cycle oil and will work fine, but if you don't have any stabilizer in there from day one it's probably no good and will just cause you problems.

I always starts with fresh gas at the beginning of the season anyway, even the stuff in the tank gets drained.

I was thinking about pouring his stuff into his container and he can do what he wants with it. I don't wanna take mine to the shop because of that. I don't wanna throw it out in case he still needs it, its his problem what he wants to do with it.
