matix10
I live in st. louis park off of highway 7 and 100 does anyone know the closest place to buy some minnows. Bait shop?
Lunker
Thats a tough one. If you're headed south , stop by the gander mountain in bloomington or lakeville. If headed east there is a spur station off of cedar(77) on old shakopee road. If headed to Tonka there should be a few over there. Aren't a lot in this area im afraid(im in edina, not far from ya)
vern
A couple other options would be Wayzata Bait on 394 & the Bryn Mawr gas station on Penn Ave N. It's getting harder to find bait in the Mpls./metro area. Hayes Tackle Plus on Lake St. just closed & Lunkers in Richfield closed last year. Here's a thread about metro bait shops:http://FishingMinnesota.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/001551.html
Mr Special
Matx10,The closet bait store to you going west would be Wayzata on Hwy394 & Hwy101. Going east would be on Hwy394 & Penn Ave at the Mobile gas station. If you take Hwy 394 going east, get off Penn Ave, take left, go straight a few blocks and you will see the gas station on your rightside. If you want to head north on Hwy169 then there's Harty's in the summer. Joe's a good guy he can help point you in the right direction. Then further north on 169 there's a gas staion on 36th St that sells bait and even further north on 169 and Bass Lk Rd, go west a mile or so and there a bait shop on your rightside.Hope this helps. Tonka Bayt
I have a bait shop in bloomington off 169 and Old shakopee rd. and in Minnetonka of 19 and smithtown crossing. The Bloomington shop would probably be fastest for you. It's called Dred Scott Automotive. 169 south to Old Shakopee head east 1 mile.ThanksTonka BaytHooks, lines, and.....Thinkers
Trailblazin
Tonka Bayt - You may want to just tell them it is the Shell Gas Station/Dred Automotive...I drive right by it and had to turn around to find it yesterday.
