fishing crappies and sunnies during the spawn?

i was just wondering what everyone thinks about fishing for sunnies and crappies during the spawing period, other fish are closed to fishing during that time and since the panfish are shallow and vunerable i was wondering if anyone thought differently about the current regs

Only in very remote instances will fishing either of these two species during the spawn be derogitory. The worst enemies will be fish hogs and loss of the habitat in which they spawn. Both fish are very prolific. If these fish needed protection during this period, they would already have it. Worry not.
