Winter Storage Of Truck

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a new truck and decided to keep my 03 F-250. I don't anticipate using it until next spring. I will have to store it outside and here in the Duluth area the temps can stay below freezing for 3 months and dip well below zero. I there anything I need to do beyond adding fuel stabilizer, checking the anti-freeze and maybe removing the battery?

I have farmed for over 50 years and all I ever did to tractors and combines were to change the oil, charge up the battery and unhook the plus battery cable and park them. If they are parked outside, put a cover, plastic or canvas over them.
