Tether ipad to iphone?

Anyone know how to tether an ipad to the iphone? I know you can do a personal hotspot but that cost money. Let me know. Thanks

Not sure(don't have an iPhone) but I have heard you need to "jailbreak" the phone. But that could be out of date.

In order to teather with the iphone, you need to get the 4gb data pro package, or jail break it.

So if you jailbreak you iphone and use Mywi for tethering do you know if verizon would pick up on that and start charging you extra? I can seem to find a good answer. Does anyone tether there ipad with iphone for free?

Depends on your data plan.

They watch for it, I was referring to ATT, but I know they will automatically bump you up, if they have a good suspicion you are tethering now. Such as, before you were using 250 mb, and now you are using 12 gig.

Anyone hear anything about verizon? I wouldn't use it very often so I wonder if they would even notice
