20 years ago the upcoming long weekend was a great time to go bill hunting in northern MN. Now I look at Otter Lake and Bald Eagle Lake in Ramsey County and I can't see any coot yet. I sort of thought that this bit of cold that we're getting would move some birds down, but I sure don't see any evidence of it yet. As for the lack of bills? who knows.
