russ
I know this shouldn't be that difficult but I have a 78 or 79 4 hp Johnson that I took the fuel pump apart and now I don't think I have it back together correctly. Can anyone tell me where I can find a detailed view of how this goes back together including both little springs, filters, diaphrams etc? Thanks, Russ

Ogaa_Persuit
I rebuilt the fuel pump on a 1972 4hp 'rude lightwin about a year ago. I bought a rebuild kit from the OMC (Bombardier) dealer. That kit enculded all new springs, diaphrams, etc. It was in-stock, really cheep, AND included well written detailed instructions on how to reassemble the pump. I'd highly recommend getting that kit.BTW - what an awesome motor!
