Modified choke barrel for a 12 gauge Winchester model 1300..

pump gun. My brother in law has been looking for one but extra barrels all seem to come with the screw in choke. His current gun is IC and he wants a Mod for ducks. I told him I would put the word out here if anyone knows a place that sells just a plain Mod barrel in above model gun

Why not just buy a used barrel with the winchokes (screw in chokes)? Then he can use whatever choke he wants in it. If he is going to buy a barrel, it makes sense to buy one with interchangeable chokes. He is not going to save a lot of money one way or the other.

He did end up getting a barrel with screw in chokes. Wow are the barrels pricey. But I suppose with the screw in chokes you get three barrels in one

More then 3 barrels look into some of the custom chokes like the ones made by Briely, I have ten different chokes for my trap gun each one has it's purpose.
