Tom7227
I read in today's paper that Commissioner Landwher has some thoughts about a 3 zone plan for duck hunting/ http://www.twincities.com/outdoors/ci_19065960 There aren't any details to speak of other than the goal would be to try and keep some days open for late season hunting to all some hunting on open water like the rivers. My experience has been that you have a chance at decent amount of shooting maybe on opening weekend but that after that things really slow down until it gets colder and some of the northern birds move in.So I was wondering if folks would support a week or two of no hunting early in the season to provide for the later season action as the Commissioner talks about in the article.Thoughts?
